Papermaking process includes pulping, modulation, papermaking and processing. With the pH value of papermaking process changing from acidic to neutral and alkaline, there are more and more anionic impurities in the pulp. If this problem is not dealt with in time, the subsequent paper machine operation and paper quality will be seriously affected. Polyaluminum chloride has a high positive charge, which can capture anionic impurities and deposit them on the fiber. It can not only solve the adverse effects of anionic impurities on the pulp, but also improve the drainage performance of the pulp. In addition to anionic impurities, polyaluminum chloride can also adsorb the negatively charged fillers and fine fibers in the pulp, which can better adhere to the inside of the paper and improve the paper strength. Compared with aluminum sulfate, polyaluminum chloride can more effectively adsorb the resin on the fiber and reduce the deposition of insoluble matter.
