Electroplating wastewater is mainly acid pickling and degreasing wastewater. Pickling degreasing wastewater mainly comes from the pretreatment stage of electroplating process, which is used for planing, cleaning and degreasing of plating parts. This kind of wastewater has high suspended solids content, oil content, iron ion content, large chromaticity, high water temperature and high alkali and inorganic salt content. Before it is treated into reuse water, the following treatment processes must be carried out: first, adjust the original pH value, and then the coagulant polyaluminum chloride and polyacrylamide were added by coagulation method to reduce the pollutants and chroma, and then the residual suspended solids and grease were removed by air flotation, and finally the water was filtered to meet the discharge standard of reuse water. In this process, the advantage of using PAC and PAM in combination is that the iron ion in the pickling degreasing wastewater will form a compact floc under the action of coagulant. After the inclined tube sedimentation, the content of suspended solids in the water is reduced, and the turbidity, chromaticity and COD index of the water body are reduced too. At the same time, the combination of PAC and PAM can remove a variety of toxic and harmful substances in the pickling degreasing wastewater, and the effect is good.
As coagulants commonly used in industrial wastewater treatment, PAC and PAM have different processes for different wastewater treatment. The specific use scheme is best to determine the use parameters through small-scale test to achieve the best use effect.
