The higher the molecular weight is, the higher the viscosity is. If the concentration of polymer flocculant is higher than 5 per thousand in water solution, it is easy to form gelatinous substance. Therefore, the center of the dissolution tank should be chosen as far as possible, so as to avoid contacting with the inner wall of the dissolution tank. The quality of polyacrylamide products may also affect the viscosity of the solution. There are too many insoluble substances in some polyacrylamide products on the market, resulting in large agglomerates when they are dissolved.
