The water purification material which is suitable for water treatment with wider pH value--polyferric sulfate

TIME:2023-07-21 17:32:18SOURCE:admin

Different water purification materials are suitable for different water quality characteristics. In addition to polyaluminum chloride series and "universal agent" polyacrylamide series, Gongyi filter material industry Co., Ltd. also has PFS which is suitable for a wider range of water pH.

There are many kinds of production processes of polyferric sulfate. At present, Gongyi filter material industry Co., Ltd. adopts a two-step production method and implements the standard GB / t14591-2016. Polyferric sulfate is made of ferrous sulfate, sulfuric acid, catalyst sodium nitrite and sodium iodide. PFS products can be divided into liquid and solid. The liquid is reddish brown liquid, and the solid is light yellow or reddish brown powder. It can be used for the treatment of drinking water, industrial water, sewage and sludge. Compared with other inorganic flocculants, PFS can form stable flocculants in the pH range of 5-11, with fast settling speed, good water purification effect, no harmful substances such as aluminum, chlorine and heavy metal ions, and no water phase transfer of iron ions, which will not cause secondary pollution to water quality. PFS has significant decolorization, deodorization, dehydration, deoiling, sterilization, dephosphorization and water removal effects It can purify wastewater from food, leather, mining, metallurgy, printing and dyeing, papermaking, petroleum and other industries, and is also widely used in foundry, medicine, leather and other fields.

The pH range of PFS is 5-11, and the ideal range is 6-9. In the process of using, the suitable range of pH value should be adjusted according to different raw water properties. Solid polymeric ferric sulfate should be dissolved into liquid at a certain concentration (2-10%) before use. Generally, 2-5% of solid polymeric ferric sulfate can be added directly in water plants, and 5-10% in industrial wastewater treatment. Due to the different quality of raw water, the amount used on site is also different. According to the actual situation of the site, the commissioning or beaker test should be carried out to obtain the best dosage.
